Heres's a pic of my cheap boxes. Kinda hard to see with all the other junk. One day I will step up to a real box but these have been ok so far.

Only pic I have on my computer. I have a ton on film for insurance. Matco with hutch and side locker with drawers. I also made a pry bar, large screwdriver attachment that hangs on the side. I'll look for better pics later.

if i had the kind of money it required to buy toolboxes like that, I woulda paid someone to finish my truck for me ;)

I'll probably be spending a few hundred on a Craftsman one as well. It's all I'll need for what I have. Now if I could get my garage cleaned out....

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

that's what i've got. a ball bearing craftsman unit simiar to what RatRod has above on the right a few posts up.

Worth every dollar, and pretty much all the space i need. I built in shelving throughout the garage to put the big stuff, power tools, etc.

funny part is, even with that toolbox, the stuff I use 99% of the time is in a custom-molded Crescent brand toolkit (Costco, $35) that's like this, but with 5x as much stuff (mostly sockets and wrenches) http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto...olkit_Full.jpg

Man, that drawer set up is sweet! You'll know right away if your missing a socket, instead of months after you actually lost it when you really need it!

Those drawer insets are nice.. I just shove stuff around until it lies flat enough for the drawers to close! lol

Here's mine, I could use another one about the same size. I still have tools piled on my work bench that I couldn't fit in there.

I really take time to clean it after each use. I have built some serious horsepower with this baby......usually while wearing my flip-flops!!!!!

I buy the Craftsman boxes at the Sears outlet.
Usually scratch and dent
Usually 40-50% off
I watch for yard sale stuff too.

Eventually I will need a toolbox but for now a peg board, bucket and boxed socket set work for me.
I have a matching bucket inside so I don't have to walk all the way out to the garage for tools.
I had a nice set in my truck toolbox but someone else thought they needed it more than I and stole it!
