'51 fender to cab seal??

guys, my step dad his building a 51 4x4 1 ton truck that he just put a 460 in and the plan is to remove the bed and install a welder type setup. they have well did the fenders to the hood, and are planning on slicing the fenders from about 2 o'clock position on the wheel angle towards the cab. the hood will open towards the front like a Peterbilt. For some reason he needs the seals that he thinks go between the fenders and the cab. I looked on LMC trucks diagram of this model truck and according to them this seal does not exist. Anyways can you guys tell me if this deal can be bought? Or if there is even one there

15 looks like it doesn't go between the fender and cab.

16 looks like it could be it, but it just shows a roll, it doesn't show where it goes.

Anyways he made his own. Thanks

Old school rod guys used to use VWbug fender welting too, came in a variety of colors so paint would not chip off.

Yep that was really popular in the 70's as it looks good and holds up great. We also used to buy "chrome fender welting" that was a chrome looking vinyl material wrapped and sewn around a cord or line to make a bead.

I'd think LMC would show it, maybe on the rear fenders section.

Some guys just had the upholstery guy sew some up too. That would no doubt cost a lot more than ordering or hunting down a roll though.
