rack and pinion
anyone upgraded to a rack and pinion set up in your truck. If so what type and Results?? Thanks

I used No Limit's conversion kit, but had to swap to an aftermarket lower A-Arm as the stock bushing is too big and does not allow the rack to sit in the correct location.
With that said, it was a great upgrade. Steering was more precise and with the increased cast the new arms provided, it was much nicer to drive. |

looks like from there web page their kit only fits up to 1972. I have a 1978

This is something I've considered trying to do. The conversion kits are rather expensive (~$1k) and I wonder how hard it would be to fab up some brackets to run a rack off a newer truck or some other vehicle.
