Here's mine. It's only mocked up at this point but it will be an LS2/Tremec RS500 when it's done.

Where did you get your engine/coil covers?

Very cool, Gus. We met at the Truck Shop in Orange a while back and talked about your swap. Nice to see that you got it done (although they are never really done).

Thanks Bub,

yeah I finally got it done, But you're right It's really never done, I still have to work on the cosmetic but I need time and cash...

And for now I'm happy with it, I drive it as is !

its hard when you have 3 classic cars to keep them all happy, my other 2 are some 50's VWs parts/maintenance is expensive too.

Bub, how's your 67?
I lost track of it, I was off the forums for about 6-7 months  the time it took me to finish my blazer !

My truck turned out better than I even expected. I drive it every day. Check out my build thread. Your advise helped me to make some of the big decisions.

How do you like the engine? Is it quick enough for you? I'm still deciding which direction I want to go with my 2wd Blazer. LS or supercharged 383...

Matt, I think a supercharged 383 will be way faster than a stock LS, But with a supercharged 383 you will also need your own gas station as it will give you about 8 to 10 MPG, compared to a LS 18-20 MPG so if gas is not the issue and you really like olsdkool motors go with the SC383.

my brother has a 68 C10 with a 383 and it eats gas like a 1968 6 door Cadillac Deville:lol:, But his trucki is really fast, and also depends on tranny and rear gearing set-up.

I like my Vortec Max and will never go back to carburator.
