67-72 body onto 79 4x4 frame

I am looking for help/info/suggestions on putting a 67-72 body on a 79 4x4 frame that i have. i have lots of time and money invested in the frame and drivetrain i have, but really like the earlier body style.67-72 4x4 are hard to come by around here.

body style

Hey Dude
the frames are the same the only differance is the way the body looks. Good luck;)

they are not the same. the cab mounts are different, and some other stuff too. It takes some modifications to do it right.

An intense email sent LOL.................Ive showed my truck for 3 or four years and I've had maybe two guys ask if it was a newer frame. Its not that big of a deal to swap.

My 72 is on a 73 frame. It used to be a 3/4 ton lwb frame and we took both trucks and brought them together. Cut the mounts off the 2wd swb frame and welded them to the 4x4 73 frame. That was about it. Hope this helps.
