2 things, cab mounts and Muffler

Anyone know of where to get a set of cab mounts, with bolts that is a decent price? Also, what muffler do you all run that has decent sound but not to loud? I was thinking of flow master, I also was thinking of some shorty headers and a 3/4 ton 3 in Y pipe, I done have a 3 in tail pipe. I just don't want headers that I have to worry about burning wires and plugs that are hard to change. My truck could use a little more get up and go, it's a 94 K1500 with a 5.7.

Not sure about the cab mounts. Last set I got were thru LMC. Muffler, normally a magnaflow has been on most of my trucks since I don't normally have a stock exhaust.

I'm looking at the 3 in Dynomax ultra flow, they say it has a good sound and doesn't have the drone. Anyone running one of these? 17229 is the pt #.

I used the polyurethane cab mounts, and got bolts from the dealership. You can use grade 8 bolts, and if you can find them with a shoulder then you don't need washers.

I run the Gisbon cat back exhaust and it has a nice sound with a little bit of drone but not much. Full 409 stainless with a 304 muffler. I also run the Gibson shorty headers with the donut built in.

One of the tricks I was taught, if this is a crew or extended cab, move the muffler as far back as you can and that will lessen the drone. Most of my stuff is regular cab, but I tend to do the same thing and have had no complaints with most of my combinations. I have use FlowMaster Delta 50s,Flow master 40s, Magnaflows (several versions) and even some Cherry bombs without a drone issue. LOUD in some cases, but never a bad droning issue.

I would vote the 20" case version of the Dynomax Ultraflow you posted.

The 14" will get loud. The 20" case Ultraflow is my go to on pickups.

I run a flowmaster 50 series on my 98.
As for headers, don't waste time with shorties and factory y pipe. Get long tubes and the custom y pipe to attach to them.

Which longtubes have the egr fitting? Or are you saying to do an egr delete just to have longtubes
