6th seat in k5
I know a lot of people have went to modern truck and suv seats in there k5s. I plan on sticking with my original sport buckets and rear bench. Has anyone added a jump seat from an s10 or something similar to the back of their k5?

I know they put seats like this in extended cab s10s. 1 of those might fit my needs.

Re: 6th seat in k5
Anyone have additional info or pictures of a console jump seat like mrtoni posted the other day? I think this solution is way better than a seat in the back. Been searching the web and not having any luck finding this. Might consider building my own with a little more info.

Hey Tomo i got your dm. Those hickey con-ferr consoles are tough to find. Ive only seen one (mine) with the backrest. I sold one about two years ago for $375. Id join some groups on facebook like hickey enterprises enthusiasts and some k5 groups.

Found this 1 - looks different than the k5 version. Any guesses on what this 1 was for FJ40? Jeep?
11” wide - with some mods think it will work in my 70? |
Re: 6th seat in k5
Amazing. No idea how you did that so fast. I have a jeep one that is identical to my blazer one but is like 4-6 inches shorter. Same width same depth. 11 inches wide sounds about right. Theres a post on this board that says its a tight fit between sport buckets

Saw an extended 1st gen bronco (4 door 3 rows) yesterday and it made me think about 3rd row options in a 1st gen k5.
As mentioned before I want to stick with the original look/no modern seats. Has anyone done something similar to this? |

just putting this out there, but that back seat will pound the heck out of any passengers that sit back there. Also, not sure how your local laws are where you are, but having 6 people in a Blazer will legally put it over it's weight limit (GVWR) If anyone is considering this, I sure hope they also install a "family" cage, or at the very least a roll bar. This might at least save the driver and passenger. There's no way I would ever put my family in something like this. |
