does it sit too low at rest before you depress it, or ?

return spring unhooked under dash ?
or is it a master cylinder problem, IE air in the lines, need ot bleed brake system out ?

the pedal sits too low at rest. i had to adjust the brake light switch all the way out for the lights to even go out. but the pedal sits abut 2inches lower with the power brakes than it did with the manual brakes. they work fine i had to do some experimenting with the set-up,i didn't have any money to buy a new master cylinderso i used the one that was on the truck and it worked fine the padel thing still bothers me though,i didn't look at the pedal in the donor truck before i took it out. i need some reassurance, maybe this happens with all of them
