What to do....

Hmmm... I've got a 68 c10 longbed with a 250 in it now. I bought a 400 small block to put in it.. I love the torque this motor can put out out. On the other hand, my dad has a friend selling a totaled 95 camaro with the LT1 and 4l60e setup. That's tempting too. I just can't decide what to go with. FI would be great, but the carb 400 should be an easier install and more torque as is. I don't think the LT1 is very modifiable. What would you guys do???

Actually The LT1 if very accepting to modifications. The only real problem is getting past the VATS (vehicle anti theft system). That is done easy with a harness from many places. Add a vortech blower and look out. Anyway it is a relativly easy swap, and a very reliable one.

The lt1 takes more knowledge tp tune and repair, its easier to hotrod an old carbed engine and also cheaper as well.

hehe.. you guys aren't helping! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif I think I'd rather have the 400, but I like the idea of having AC and 90k mile 350.. It probably wouldn't really matter which I chose. I can't keep the wheels from spinning with this little 250.
