California Customs

Gonna preach about how good this stuff is. My wheels on my truck are about 9 years old. They have more shine than most new polished aluminum wheels. I have used a lot of products over the years trying to find something that works good and easy to use. I haven't tried everything, but I will if offered and I will give it a true test. I tried some stuff last year and ended up giving it to the local Fire Dept to use on one of the new trucks.

California Customs wheel cleaner for polished aluminum (not clearcoated) has two parts. An oxidizer for badly stained or dull wheels (green). Then the purple polish. I use the oxidizer maybe once a year. This stuff is easy to use. With my wheels being in pretty good shape I can do all four in less than 20 minutes. I use the Purple the rest of the summer to keep them shiney.

You can find CC here: http://www.californiacustom.com/

Here is a couple of links I thought would be of interest. I know Sherri from another website and was probably the one that got her to try CC.

This is from a guy that tried it and his results from another forum.

There are a lot of good products out there. Is this the best? I don't know because I have not tried them all. It is the best and easiest I have tried. I don't think its fair to say something is the "Best" if you haven't tried all the others out there.

I have and do use thier products. The only other aluminum polish that I use is Bucsh's.He made his own polish. He started marketing his own line about 10 years ago.Mostly in the Truckstops here on the East coast.I used Bucsh's on my trailers. It works well with a buffer.Try doing a 48' trailer by hand!I use the cali stuff on my wheels.

The Bush's is what I gave to the FD last summer. Had bought some and tried it but didn't think it was a good as CC. I was pretty good stuff.

A lot of car car products are sold only at shows or by the internet and mail order. I have used the purple, the oxidizer and the Mron wax. I really like the Mron also. You can get California Customs here: http://www.californiacustom.com/
