Re: Installed pics of SD's Raised Front Crossmember!!
Its hard to tell in the pics, but it looks as if the bag is awfully compressed at ride height
From the ride height of 6" how much extra lift does it have & when at dump how much camber is there ??? also, is it riding at that height & laying frame with 3" drop spindles or what ??? Is the track width narrowed any ??? |
Re: Installed pics of SD's Raised Front Crossmember!!
I think the bags look compressed because there is no air in them the frame is sitting on, what looks to be 6 inch blocks for explanation purposes. (ie: these pics to give you and idea of where it sits) How about a side shot ?

Re: Installed pics of SD's Raised Front Crossmember!!
1.) Will the tubular arms work with stock crossmembers? Or only the raised crossmember?
2.) What year ball joints are required? Thanks, Shane |

Re: Installed pics of SD's Raised Front Crossmember!!
When I called Suicide Doors the guy on the phone said that when you place the order for the kit they ask the customer some questions about there truck. One questions being if they will be using stock or tubular control arms..
Is there changes made to the crossmember to use the stock arms? I was wondering if someone orders a crossmember to be used with stock control arms can they easily switch to tubular control arms at a later date?? Thanks.. |

The X-member is the same ether way. Also on some stock arms you will need to trim some for rack clearance in the X-shaft area on one side. |
Re: Installed pics of SD's Raised Front Crossmember!!
Does the SD crossmember move the wheel forward to center it in the wheel opening? or does it leave the wheel in the stock location?
