Looking for a wheel base measurement on a 55 Chev stepside SB

Just like the title says. ;)
Can anybody give me their measurements of their 55 step side Short box wheel base and steer width.

I'll tell ya... I've got a line on a 4X4 S15 chassis. I'd like to find out if it is completely out of the question to shorten this chassis for a 55 56 SB.

it can be done i did witha a 4x4 chassis
