leaf springs under frame

anybody ever mount the leaf springs under the frame for more tire clearance on a task force (55.2-59) or any other model truck?

how did you do it and what springs did you use?

thanks!

ive seen the leafs moved to the inside of the frame ( using stock spring mounts swapped from side to side ) the rear was really narrowed and some HUGE micky thompsons stuffed under it

The PO of my truck put longer springs off a late model 1/2 ton chevy, 10 bolt out of an S10 and did a mini tub even with the stock frame rails. So it will fit rather large tires under it. I think the tubs he used may have come from the same truck the springs did.

I did it on mine several years ago with a kit I bought from a company in CA. I honestly don't remember the name, but I'll try and find it. I've also seen it done using the mounts and shackles from the front end mounted in reverse on the rear. There are pics of mine in my thread.
