holley carb filter ?

I have a avenger 870 holley carb and was wondering if to keep the ceramic filters that are in the fuel bowls.I bought the carb used in good shape but the filters were sitting in the box.If I do need the filters does the spring go into carbfirst then filter then fuel line, thanks

Re: holley carb filter ?

Myself, I dump the small float bowl filters and use a good inline canister filter. IMO thiose little filters are a 'out of sight out of mind' deal and don't get replaced near as often as they should. IMO a good inline filter will do just as good or better, and be less restrictive.

but that's just my 2cents
