67-72 bench seat...free!!!

Pulled it out TODAY out of my 72 GMC Short/Fleet.
Yours for FREE, you just gotta come pick it up!

Looks to be in Decent Shape, but I think the Foam/Springs need to be rebuilt on the Drivers side.
I lean a little to the Left, when I sit on it.

Located in Northern California, Lake County Zip Code 95426.

Only thing I DON'T know as of yet, is if I need the OEM Mounting feet that are on that original seat. I'll know MORE after I unbox everything and read the instructions.

You can see pictures of the seat here at:
http://home.pon.net/wwotr/towing.htm

Just scroll down the page to the "Seat Install" and look at the Photo Gallery.

Yup.
Threw it away.
Drove 20 Miles to the nearest Landfill and paid my $2.00, and she's gone to the Grave.

In the last 3 months, I've put up 3 separate ads (here) offering it for FREE.
At least 5 Craigs List Ads, and there, I got hit with nothing but FLAKES, wasting my time!:smoke:

No not sure of the Cover.
The Bench seat came in the Truck, and I just got done putting New Bucket Seats in it.
Heres some close-ups of it.

Thanks!
I actually bought those seats last October (09).
Then my Truck was in the Body Shop from Mid October through Mid January,
(10), for complete body work.

Then after I got it home, I noticed some "Surface Rust" on the Floor Pan,
so I had to POR 15 that.
Then I had to Find/Order matching retractable seat Belts (no easy feat). After waiting 4 Weeks, one of the Seat Belts I received was the Wrong Color. Had to return it and wait ANOTHER 2 weeks.
Then I had to have a Metal Worker, Fabricate some Custom Seat Belt Mounting Brackets.
Then I found out the Company had sent me the wrong "Adapter Rails",
so that was ANOTTHER 3 week wait.

So finally (6 Months Later) the New Seats were in.

So you can see, just LOOKING at the old Bench Seat,
drove me Crazy.
I had to get rid of it, for some "Clouser" on my seat install! ;)

Yep, but everyone kept telling me..."Oh thats too far to drive (125 miles).
They were getting no pitty from me, because I did a 305 Mile Trip to pick up a Rocker/Glider from Craigs List for $49.00 and it was the best deal I'd found yet, even factoring in the Gas/Time.

People were asking me to Deliver it "Half Way".
Another guy, kept me waiting all day, (on 2 different occasions), but that was my fault, falling for his BS the 2nd time.
I was just tryin to pay it forward, but everyone that was interested, ....wanted more. ;=(

DISSCLAIMER:

I'm talking about the Craigs List Flakes and NOT anyone in this Forum!

No.
Actually one of the Craigslidst Flakes was in "Clearlake" a 20 Minute Drive from Cobb. He was the one that jerked me around for 2 days.
Found out he couldn't make it because of his "Court Date".

I was just trying to pay it forward. If it was a $300.00 Cover than so be it.
I'm a firm believer in Karma.

Jan '09 I drove down to Santa Rosa for a simple 4 hour 67-72 truck show!
