what size metal to build rear frame?
thinking about just going ahead and building my rear frame, an was wondering what size metal stock are u guys using out back to build your frames? im a newbie at this so sorry for all the questions..:metal:

We build ours from 2x4x.120.

Trust me, I know.... seems that everybody thinks that if it sin't at least 3/8 thick it's not strong enough! LOL

2x4x.120 works for me, and this is exposed to a lot more stress than a street driven truck. A lot of it has to do with the competency level, engineering ability, and welding ability of the builder.
