I remember a truck running around my home town about 20 years ago with a hood that resembled that one.

To each his own, but I thought the stock hood looked a lot better.

*EDIT* If I'm not mistaken, JC Whitney used to have something like that in their old catalogs.

Yes. They were designed by Vic Hickey to be used on his desert racers. The lower profile allowed better visibility

they still sell em, there bought $400.00 . I'm think'n bout get'n one, every body has a cowl hood so this would be different . they have em for both early and late style's.
