Is this reasonable?

Locally, there is a guy with 5.3 motors and 4L60E's complete with PCM flashed with VATS and rear O2 sensors off or on as I choose for $2400. They come with the pedal, too. All engines are either 2007 or 2008, and have 36-50k. What do you guys think?

A lot depends on your area and availability. I just picked up a complete 2002 1500HD that was a write off from an interior fire for $1500. It has the 6.0L/4L80 with 60K miles. I like the idea of having a complete parts vehicle, who knows what you may need/use.

I agree with Notch. I just picked up a 2007 4.8/4L80E with everything including hydroboost and 30K miles for $800.

That is decent for CA w/programing. Hard to find the kind of deals the southern & midwest boys pick up. Too many hands in the cookie jar out here. That isn't saying they aren't available... just uncommon. Does it include any harness work?
