What paint was used on the firewall, inner fenders, and underside of hood?

Rustoleum Semi-gloss black. It is holding up well so far, but when I can afford to have my truck repainted I am going to get it all red to match.

Thanks TK. How do you think they perform compared to stock ones?

tk-mpl 07-19-2011 04:01 PM

Re: Show your LS Swap engine bay

I imagine they perform better then the manifolds , but I did it more so for the looks.

When you say little mods what did you have to do?

Re: Show your LS Swap engine bay

All I did was shave the framerail alittle on the bottom of both sides and on the top for the RH side. Also had to shave the lower control arm and dent in one tube on the LH side

I will post pic later if I can find them.

Awesome thanks. I dont know if I will be able to run long tube or not on a bagged truck with a Z'ed front frame. I will have to look into that.

Mac,

It is a valve off of ebay from "valves for projects". You need a high temperature valve to handle the coolant temp. So they put viton seals in it for no extra charge. You also need a normally open valve so it is only powered when you have the air on max. It is a nice valve.
