1981 gmc swb

Nice little truck. I have an 81, but a Scottsdale 20. Not going much with it other than load it up for a contractor type buyer to get rid of a bunch of stuff. Ladder rack, lockable tool box, great sound system, tires and rims, then it goes away.

V8? does it have a 305 or a 350? How low?

It has a 305 i recently put Headers , Flowmasters,Edlebrock intake on it. Fixing to buy 22" U2 and lower it probably at least 3/5 ill post some pics after i get my wheels.

Try not to spend too much money on that engine. Any more than you already have is too much.
