Radio w/6 disc CD Player
 

I have a 2005 Chevy 3500 with the w/6 disc CD Player/Radio. Everything works fine with the Radio & CD player except now when I start it the audio doesn't come on. If I manually shut off the Radio and wait a bit and turn it back on the audio will work so far. The display is showing the time, radio station, CD Playing and who is singing a song on the radio when I switch to it, but no audio. This just started and it is annoying when I want to hear news or music.
Anyone have any ideas on the problem and how to correct it?

When this happens does the door chime still sound with the key in the ignition? My 03 Tahoe did pretty much the same thing except the door chime did not sound either. This has only happened once since I got the tahoe last year. No one could tell me exactly what it was but the gm dealer suggest reflashing the bcm if it happens again. This happened back in February and was the only time.

UPDATE
Found out something interesting, it seems that the audio won't play until the cab get some heat in it for when it is cold not audio but turn heater on for about 15 minutes that radio when you turn it back on had audio again, only when it is cold does it not work and living in NH this time of year it means no radio most of the time.
Door chime and key chime work okay.
