Overdrive
Friend of mine has a 64 3/4 ton chevy, with a 350 and what we believe is the original 4 speed. What is the easiest/cheapest way to get him an overdrive?

Hmm, probably a manuel 5 speed out of a later model chevy truck, where are you located? I go to a savalge yard called Pick & Pull, there are alot of them in northern California, I noticed they have one in Chicago and Dallas. I like the idea of pulling your own parts, you can see how it all bolts up, and what ever small poeces you can fit in your pocket will give you back the 1 dollar fee to enter the yard. You are the first person other then me to say any thing on the 60-66 site in a long time!

I have a 68, so I frequent that board a lot, my neighbour was asking me where I get info for my truck, told him about the board, he asked me to post for him. I am in Michigan, and I agree about the junk yard

I look at the 67-72 board a lot to, not to many people on the 60-66. I would like to have 67-72, but the 65 takes up a lot of space the way it is. 20 miles to the gallon is pretty good!
