my other project. hot rod black, mini tubs, 990 square port iron heads,standard bore 427,275 drag radials, lunati roller, full interior,cage,12 bolt,turbo 400 3815 pounds with the driver in it. runs 7.50 in the eighth mile. 6.50 on a 200 shot of zex nitrous. foot braking a tight 2500 converter. 4.30 gears,cal tracks. driven to alot of races and shows and a lot of cruise ins. taged insured :chevy:

Sounds like the recipe for a very sweet ride! Like the flat black with the yenko stripes. Hope you don't mind if I post a couple pics of my 68 since yours reminds me so much of it.

Nice Novas, gents.

One of my 'missed opportunity' cars was a running, driving, rust free '69 SS Nova when I was in high school. Guy wanted $400 so he could buy a new guitar. I took a pass and don't even remember what I ended up buying instead. Kick myself frequently over it.

This thread is making me miss my nova but tough times call for tough measures. I love that 427! I will have one someday.

what did you guys use for paint? our car has gone through a few transformations. looking at getting John Deeres Blitz black next... a few pics...
