64 GMC 4000 master cylinder

I just pick up a 64 GMC 4000, it needs a master cylinder, it is a dual brake and clutch type like my 62 suburban had. Are they the same? Bigger bore for the 4000?
Thanks,
Tim

I have a new one I put of my 62 Suburban, but took it of a month latter after I installed your power Brake Setup. Now if I can find it. Have you done a test fit for your power steering bracket on a 62 4X4?
Thank you,
Tim

i looked at a few parts sites and all they show is the 1 1/8 inch on both the clutch and brake sides ... pickup up to 3500 i have a 64 i think it is a 4000... if the one you have (if you find it) does not feel right let me know and i can pull mine off and check it.... check and see if yours is 1 1/8" before you put in on good luck

I used one of captain's p/s plates on my 61k10. worked out fine (did dot use his template) one bolt was a tight fit because of the ft cross member (eng mount) and i notched the ft bumper brace.
