It took me forever to find a bed
here is the driver side fender which will need to be replaced... it needs work on the front and rear.. the front has a few holes and rough towards the bottom.. http://i1361.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5f092918.jpg here is the back where it has the bottom rail rusted off http://i1361.photobucket.com/albums/...psa392b3e0.jpg the back panel lower strip has part that has rust off which i hope to be able to fix. http://i1361.photobucket.com/albums/...psc474e0f6.jpg here is the driver side bed panel which has the mount for the floor (i guess its the side rail, looks to have some issue, which i hope is another easy fix http://i1361.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8699f9c4.jpg other than that i think its in great shape.. tailgate is in great shape, has all the original wiring and rear tail lights... |

Looks like a great start. If you cut the rusty areas back to solid metal you shouldn't have any trouble welding in new metal. Good luck with your project. LockDoc |

Good luck on your frame. If you have a welder and some skills or the willingness to learn, you'll have it whipped into shape in no time. I saw a thread once about a guy who pulled a 63 Impala SS convertible out of a ditch and was rusted beyond any imaginable repair. He took his time and fixed it inch by inch and made a show piece out of it. Your frame looks nice and workable. By the way, Welcome to the Board, sqweak!
