alignment numbers
hey folks
I have a 66 LWB that is lowered a bit 2" drop spindles front/ 4" jeep springs rear I just put some 255/60s on FJ cruiser wheels and it wallows around in the tire ruts on the freeway :( The previous tires were much shorter…like a 26" tire, lol what kinda numbers should I give to my alignment guy? |
Re: alignment numbers
1/16 per side for toe. As much caster as possible (probably wont go past 3 degrees) and up to 1 degree negative camber.

Re: alignment numbers
rad, thanks for the response.
currently on page 2 of your alignment thread, great stuff thanks a ton for putting that info up there for us. |
Re: alignment numbers
Google "I found the magic button". It will be on the first page. If your Aligner has a modern machine he should be able to perform this function. Now that I have found it I consider it to be the O.N.L.Y. way to align a C10 or any shimmed vehicle. I preach and preach to remove ALL shims before an alignment. Its the only way to get a decent (and safe) alignment. Rock On Brother!
