SS6 bags for front of '68 250?

Hello gentlemen. Was planning on just doing a static drop on my truck, but figured I already had the air ride parts for my 69 MB benz project that is on hold, that I'm gonna put them in my chevy instead.

The bags I had were ss-6's for all for corners. I know everyone tends to run a ss7 on these trucks, so I was wondering if the 6" bag is going to be adequate for a inline6 truck?

Also, the lower bag cups, do they need to bolted down to the control arms? Never seen a solid answer on this as most seem to just say that they're placed in.

Thanks fellas.

The bottom cups bolt to the bottom of the bag but not bolted or welded to the lower arm, just think of your stock spring it just sits in the arm. Sorry not sure if that is the right or wrong size bag for your application.

7's up front.
6's or 7's for the rear.

Straight 6's are about equal weight to V8's so the larger 7" bags are what I would use. Lower bag cups can 'float' in the lower arms as the weight of the vehicle keeps them in place.
