Rear coil question

I have a 68 gmc 910 lowered two inches in rear with lowering blocks. My question is will a c20 rear coils fit. Mine are worn out and the truck does carry a load from time to time. There's a guy selling some in town here as HD coils for the 67-72,when I check part moog6101-3 number they are for c20. I'm just wondering if there will be fitment issues or a higher free spring height vs c10 coil. I can't find a length spec for either spring. Thanks for any info

Re: Rear coil question

I would imagine that the C20 springs are taller thicker bigger in general than the C-10. Other than saying they are bigger I can't say for sure if you can put 20 springs in place of 10's. Jim

Call up Eaton Detroit spring. They will be able to tell you what will fit and the specs on the HD spring

If you have a good parts store and on decent terms with the counter help Moog still makes catalogs for there parts. They can look up the springs by part # and it will list spring rate, free height, installed height and coil diameter, and load rating of the spring. You can probably find that information on the Internet now.

They are the same. I installed a set of C20 springs with no issues.
