Swapping into an 87 r10 rcsb I have the vss plugged in on the tailshaft of the trans and the harness has a wire labled vss question is what dobi use it for

If it's a single green wire coming from the PCM, then its for your speedometer.

Which doesnt always work for all speedos i ened up spilcing into the vss sensor for ky gauges

What are ky gauges? A lot of times splicing into the VSS wire directly will cause interference and send a skewed signal to the PCM and can cause transmission shifting problems.

That was suppose to say my gauges mine seems to be shifting fine im running dophin gauges the vss wire from computer would peg the gauges full over no ammount of programing would make it work i wired i to the vss at the trans and did the speed calibration and it works great

Thanks guys for the quick reply I also got a complete wiring schematic for my engine and verified
