Jack Accessory Bag
5 Attachment(s)
Good day all,
I know there are a lot of you out there looking for an original "jack accessory bag" (I have been searching hi and lo myself). I also know that they are very difficult, if not impossible to find now days. Let me know what you think of these. I used an old one as a pattern and re-made one with a thick canvas lining to prevent the parts from tearing through. If there is enough interest, I could be persuaded to make some more for those of you interested. The pic with the 2 bags shows my remake below the original GM bag. The rest of the pics are of my remake with my tools (tools not for sale). This is sewn together with heavy canvas thread and is very durable. Let me know what you think. Kevin |
Re: Jack Accessory Bag
Looks great!
I have searched a couple wrecking yards for any tool bag from a different vehicle with no luck, so I'm interested! |
Re: Jack Accessory Bag
Nicely done. Canvas should hold up well.

Re: Jack Accessory Bag
The outside of the bag is the same type foam used in the original bags. It should help keep things quiet as well.

Re: Jack Accessory Bag
I would be in for one.

Re: Jack Accessory Bag
Wow, I guess I didn't realize how many of you were looking for these. I have run the numbers and I could make these and ship them to your door for $40 flat. If that works, PM me.

Re: Jack Accessory Bag

You may get more attention by putting a for sale ad up.

Re: Jack Accessory Bag
Thanks for the advice and the interest folks. I am a premium member now and I will work my hardest to get these made for those who want them. If you want one and have not already sent me a PM, please do so. I will respond with payment info.
Thanks, Kevin |
Re: Jack Accessory Bag
If heavy material and made well then I'd definitely be interested. Great idea. Be even better if there's enough room (can't tell from here) for foam pipe insulation. Keeps the parts nice and less likely to tear the bag.

Received it today. Very nice workmanship. Stuffing it in the corner did not go as easily as I hoped because of the gas tank vent line interference, but I got-er-done.
