700r4...4L60E

Are the pans identical I have a 98 blazer 4.3/4L60E and was wondering if the transmission pans are the same, from 88-up on the 700r4 they look alike at a glance but of course the 4L60E pan doesn't have a drain plug. Which is a pain in the neck!
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!

TH700R4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E All have the same bolt pattern on the case and use the same pan gasket. Pans and filters vary by year, chassis and 2WD or 4WD. You can interchange pans as long as it will fit your chassis and you use the right filter.

B&M has a drain plug installation kit, which you can put in your existing pan. They're cheap.
