Looks like a nice cab to start with, we are definitely going to need some more info on this one. What are your plans?! Oh, and congrats on the retirement.;)

My plan is to take the 70 apart and use the frame then put the 67 cab on it. I plan on making it a daily driver/shows/dabble in autocross.

Good deal on the retirement. Now you get to spend all of your pension and 401k on this project. :metal: Well, most of it anyway...say, somewhere, probably around 60% of it.

Thanks for your service :flag:

Check out my 68 build, it is themed on Army as I was in the military years ago and I have a deep appreciation for all who have served in the armed forces it is a huge sacrifice

Thanks Larry and thanks for your service to this great country! It's amazing what people do on this site. I was just talking to Mike McMasters, who by the way is an awesome guy and very knowledgeable, I wish I knew half of what you, Mike and the rest of you guys know!

Hey Keith,
Thanks man I'm trying to figure this whole social media thing and trying to post things. I have a photobucket account but still not sure how to post from it.

Well I think I've narrowed it down to the suspension I will be using and the brakes.

I hope all is well and did I see that you sold your project?

No not my current project, it's not for sale. Your probably thinking about my previous project that I sold 2 years ago.

If you have a smartphone, you can post pictures from your phone directly to the website. That's how I do it. What suspension and brakes did you decide to go with?

Re: My 67 retirement project

Keith,
I believe I'm going to go with either Scott's IFS and rear suspension or No Limit IFS and rear trailing arm setup. I plan on using Kore3 brakes.
Thanks

Re: My 67 retirement project

Just wondering if I should use a Ford 9", that I was going to use in my 71 Camaro, or use the 12 bolt that is in it now and just beef it up? Please any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. It's going to have a 496/650hp 625 tq with a 4l80e in it.
Thanks :chevy:

Re: My 67 retirement project

If anyone is interested in any of the parts on the orange 70 please let me know. I'm sure I will let them go for very cheap! I'm undecided if I'm going to work the bed or not but everything except the frame is available.
