Hello all, new to membership but I've been using the forums since I got the truck back in '14. I bought it from a classic car dealer out of Houston on eBay auction; it had been his daily. It had been moderately restored and had a LT1/4L60 swapped at some point before the guy I bought it from purchased it.

I wasn't happy with the interior so that is where I started. It had really poorly placed 6 1/2" speakers in the doors and overall most of the interior needed help. I replaced the carpet in the factory charcoal color, added new black door panels with accesories and replaced the cracked dash with a new black dash. I then relocated the door speakers to the kick panels, and added two 8" subs with an amp behind the seat. I also replaced the dated single din with a new Alpine head unit and replaced the blown out 6x9s in the rear corners. Next, I swapped all of the interior lighting to led, and added some desperately needed cupholders.

Next big change was lowering it. The 1st setup I had was a 2" coil up front and 1 leaf removed in the rear; I loved the stance but it was way too bouncy in the back. At this time I believe I added the C30 sway bar; mine did not come with a sway bar from the factory. After getting fed up with the bad ride, I got a flip kit and added the leaf back in, and replaced the stock shackle with a 1" lift shackle. At that time I got a Suburban/K5 rear bumper for a cleaner look. I was pretty satisfied with the ride and looks so I kept this stance for about 2 years.

Now we're in '17. This year I replaced the front shocks with QA1 adjustable shocks #SR2254P, which I found to be almost identical specs as the stock shocks, but with the ability to keep the truck planted and confident in turns. Around that time I tinted the headlights yellow with Lamin-x pre-cut tint. In June, I finally got around to ordering the CCW Classics, which had been on the top of my list of things I wanted since before I even had the truck. I'll post the wheel specs in a picture below. Since I stepped up to 17s with a little less aggressive fitment up front, I had room to run drop spindles and not rub, so I lowered the front 2.5" more, and lowered the rear 1" by swapping the lift shackle back to the stock one to a 4.5"/6" drop. I finally got the center caps in today so the pics posted here won't have them on.

I am a part time college student and full time worker so progress has been slow on the truck. It's the first vehicle I've owned and my only 4 wheeled vehicle, so I haven't been able to start digging into the fun stuff like IRS, race buckets, 6spd MT, etc.

Oh, almost forgot. I ripped out the Flowmaster 50s and replaced them with Dynomax race bullets. Long tubes into the bullets with no crossover pipe= pure racetruck at WOT. I have to say LT1s have one of the best exhaust notes in my opinion.

I'm not 100% sure if I'm being honest. It has the optispark vent that comes from the air intake so I assume it is a later model motor. I have the vin of the car it came out of but I've been too lazy to look it up haha.
