Dodge Dana 60 spring perch heights
Hey I did a bit of searching but came up empty. I’m putting a 93 D60 in the front of my 86 K10 and noticed that when I mounted the axle and it appears the spring perch is taller on the drivers side than on the passenger side. Any one ever run into this?

Yes I got that issue sorted as I’m using all aftermarket spring hangers. The issue is that the drivers side spring perch is physically taller than the passenger side perch. Not sure if there is a small lift block that’s supposed to be there or not. |
Re: Dodge Dana 60 spring perch heights
i worked on 1 truck my self with a dodge under a gm and did not notice a problem .
have you realy looked it over with a tape measure from pad to tube ? the gm 60 uses a taller perch on driver side than 1/2 and 3/4 ton fronts do . so it might be a optical illusion . otherwise set her up and measure the truck and if need be add in a old leaf spring cut down to just a spacer length and add it in the bottom of the pack to level it out via sandwiching it with the center pin like a leaf . |
