Question??????

Has anybody tried this bracket setup on a 350 yet? I'm wanting a factory setup for my daughter step side and ran across these.
They look almost like the correct setup but before I buy I'd like some feed back.It will save me from hunting in the junkyard for it if they work out.

Personally, with all the reports of poorly fitting and low quality parts I've seen, I'll never buy anything from CPP. Just heard some stories at Fall Carlisle about parts I don't recall because all I need to hear is CPP and I know the rest of the story. Plenty of cheap original alternator brackets out there that can be painted shiny black.

Tim I to have herd the stories. I was asking because so far the cheap brackets haven't turned up in any of my searches yet! I have several guy's in our local club suppose to have them but not yet gotten in touch with me to verify.
Working on my daughter's 68 step side putting a v-8 in place of the 6 and I need all the brackets and pulleys for it.

Re: Question??????

I have one on mine they dont work well with aftermarket tall valve covers . it puts my alternator fully out on the adjustment with only a piece of paper clearance to the valve cover . now I imagine if you use the shorter factory covers you would be fine

Yes the taller valve covers will not let you use the stock brackets but right now my plan is to use small covers.

Yes I saw Tom's but I'm giving the local guys a few days to see if any of them turn up anything.
