1976 Scottsdale 20 1/2 ton?

So I bought this truck but I got myself confused. It is a '76 C10 1/2 ton with RPO Z62 Scottsdale and RPO F44 Heavy Duty Chassis. F44 gives it a 6,200 GVWR as a 1/2 ton which is basically the same as a C20 of that year, minus C20 equipment. The badges that came with the truck say "Scottsdale 20" but it definitely not a C20, so is this a) wrong badges or b) Chevy nomenclature/badging games? Also, why wouldn't it have gotten the "Big 10" package name?

None of this really matters, just satisfying my curiosity. If I keep the truck, it will get short-bedded and lowered with sport mirrors and different wheels of course.

In the mid 70s, light duty trucks got all the emissions equipment including cats. Heavy duty didn't. Fairly common for C10s to be ordered as heavy duty for that reason.

My 75 C10 was setup that way. 6200lb GVWR, no cats, fuel openings setup for the leaded size nozzles.

The EPA sticker if present, should reflect the Heavy Duty Emissions setup.

Wrong fender emblems.

C10903 model = 1/2 ton, regardless of option content.

Thanks Keith! That's what I thought just wasn't 100%
