Oh my electrical grimlins
 

Where do I start:

1999 Silverado 5.3 123,000 miles 4X4 Ext-Cab.
Put in new control module for the 4X4 system then new switch. Now all the lights are on even the red (neutral) light.
Since I did this the truck lugs (automatic) in 3rd and Drive but not in first or second. Also when I put transmission in Reverse the right turn signal blinker lights up solid, the front PS and rear PS running light lights up but no reverse lights. The lugging did not start until I put the new module in.
Is it a "reprogramming" issue with the lugging? I did pull a code that says there is a short in the system. HELP

Just a guess, but got through and fix grounds and sketchy electrical connections.
