Bed tool box door
Does anyone know how to remove the tool box door handle?

Re: Bed tool box door
I believe you may have to split the skins to get it out .

Re: Bed tool box door
Thanks, I was thinking the same. I have a rusted out door that I’m replacing so I will post a solution when I get it done. I’m thinking of drilling a hole and just putting a plug in it so I can rust proof the inside at the same time.

Re: Bed tool box door
I looked and could not find a RE-pop door but our local hot Rod shop found one for me that was in great shape. I had to drill two holes in the back to remove the handle as the rod is put together before the skin is put on as was mentioned. I drilled two 1.25 inch holes that will take rubber plugs and give me room to remove and replace the rod.
Big shoutout to “The Hot Rod Corner” in Eugene Oregon. |
