Hi everyone, back again with a 62!
1 Attachment(s)
Been away from trucks for a few years again while I worked on a 68 Camaro but now the car's done and this little box 62 caught my eye! Looking to make an occasional driver, go to the; hardware store/dump runs/parts runner that I can also drive cross country or maybe to a Saturday night cruise.
Currently has an unknown sbc and t350, coil spring and front disc brake conversion, power steering and power brakes, 12 bolt rear, and a reasonably straight and solid 61 yr old body. Looks like the original color was Omaha Orange but there's too many very nice orange ones around here. Looking at most likely a great non-metallic turquoise/white (Open to help and suggestions on a great looking turquoise stock or period correct) First order of business will be getting it all sorted mechanically, and getting doors functioning properly, latches! Once it's a good driver A/C is on the top of list along with cleaning up the interior. Last will be body and paint. Wish me luck! |

Thanks for the welcome and the links!
I've started a build thread for the truck, please feel free to share any thoughts! I know I'm going to have lots of questions, but maybe something I do might help someone else too! Hope so! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...44#post9246044 |
