Removable center section upgrade

Bought a 85 k20 a few weeks back. They had like 1" thick housecarpet covering the floor so yea I am going through and replacing the floors with 1/8" material.

This one does not have the removable hump panel around the sm465/208 shifters. Once I got the carpet ripped out there was a ton of rust. But they also made two 1"8" cuts and bent the hump over towards the passenger side. They riveted it back down covering the cut with duct tape under the carpet.

So the hump is almost completly cut out anyway. What do I need to do to swap it over to the removable style? It there a bottom " ring" I can buy or just make it fit with a top section I have in the barn from another square?

The early style removable center panel has holes in it that bolt down with welded nut on the underside of the cab. Guess you could just use sheet metal screws or go thru the trouble of welding nuts on if you have access.
