you have any baffling inside the oil Pan? sounds kinda like when you get on it, all the oil is shoved to one area and the pickup starts sucking air. Also check your drain back holes under the intake manifold. you can have alot of oil get stuck up in the valve covers and valley area when you get into higher RPMs. that's the reason I put a 7 quart oil pan on my engine. gotta keep it well supplied with oil when running 7000 RPMs and 420 horses.
