I just went through and removed all the lower gauges. When this was done I simply cut the lower portion of the lense off. The 2 inch gauges will bolt in perfectly using the supplied hardware.

The pic im posting, I also installed a 5inch tach (fits like a glove) and a 81 leSabre fuel gauge.
