The complete 73-87 3/4 ton front end should bolt up. Just unbolt the old a-frames, torsion bars and crossmember, then set the 3/4 ton crossmember under it. From what I've heard there is some drilling involved to get the holes to line up, and I think the 73-87 idler arm has bigger bolts holding it to the frame. There are several places that have the adapter plate to bolt the big later model p/s box to the older frames. I've never used one myself, but I'm sure someone can tell you the best one to use.
