I built a metal build shop on a slab, but I am curious about you folks that do pole barn/building, then poor a slab. How do the supports/poles stand up? I would tend to think that they would rot/deteriorate and make the building unstable. I am not very knowledgeable about wood structure, so I am curious about that aspect.
