well Kevin, I like the idea of what you are doing. showing how to build a cheap yet highly reliable truck is extremely helpful. all the manufacturers have been trying to achieve this for many, many years and are getting close. it takes a fair amount of planning and carefull egineeering. I havent touched mine in 3 years except for the things I got stupid on earlier. (like forgetting to put the lockwashers on the pan bolts) ol' Lefty starts every morning and gives me not a lick of trouble.
I know this goes against the cheap rule but if someone has headders that are constantly leaking I HIGHLY suggest copper gaskets.
