You by the way have a veryyyy nice truck. I was wondering if I could get some advice from you ....

1. Are 68-72 Chevy hoods able to be interchanged with 68-72 G.M.C. trucks?

2. Do you have a gap between the hood and the chrome top bar.... 3/8' it makes the hood look like it was made too short.

I've seen this on 70 G.M.C. that appear stock. It seems strange that this gap exists. I put a 71' Chevy hood on my G.M.C. and I also have a gap and the only way to get rid of this is to have it fit poorly at the cowl. I have a buddy that swares his truck is stock and his is the same as mine.
