The kit is designed to run 20's or 22's, and in the picture the truck was running 15's with with a medium tire size that was about the same as a 20". We used an end link for a 18" wheel package for that truck since it as running a small tire and wheel package.

Yes the shock straightens up when the truck is aired up, and the cantilever bar swings down. This image will give you a better idea of how it looks.

The kit is designed to be 100% bolt on with the exception of the step notch kit. The vehicle shown in the pictures had the cantilever system welded on simply because it was the first prototype kit. We currently offer 100% Bolt-on Watts Links Kits for the 67-72 trucks, and 73-87 trucks in 10 bolt and 12 bolt applications.

The four link bracket attaches to the outside of the frame using factory locating holes to help place the bracket before drilling the mounting holes.

The kit also has bolt-on axle brackets that are designed to work with the factory spring perches on the trailing arm trucks.

Hope that some of these images will give you a better idea of what all comes with, and is involved with the kit.

Stay tuned as we work with Nathan @ Porterbuilt over the next few weeks as we feature a build-up on our environmentally friendly project " Pavement Hugger" .. Rollin Hardcore in a 74'
