Actually 25.4 mm = 1 inch.

25.4/6 = .236" or 15/64. A little less than 1/4"

4.5 bs on 8.5 is about +12.5mm
5.25 bs on 10 is about +6.25mm

Whether they will work or not I don't know. I have 10s with 5 bs on front and back and have no problem on a stock height truck. I've had the rear on the bumps and still no problem.
