I just centered the pipe over the spring pocket and drew around it. Then I made the top plate and bolted it on, bolted the bag in the lower arm an bolted it on. Then I lifted the lower arm until the bag touched the upper plate and drew around the bag to mark for the mounting holes and air line hole in the plate. This way it is aligned perfectly.
