When I had the 700R4 rebuilt for the second time, I had the guy run mine hydraulically. It just goes into lockup at 35mph, all the time. I don't know how its done, but thats what he said he did. Prior to that, I ran it like cparman had his, just hot all the time. May have been why I had to rebuild the tranny more than once...
